Dan Romeo Photographer

My work tells human stories with the strength of expression, through the depth of the look, the furrow of a smile, the wisdom of hands aged by time and work. All of my images come to life with the unique aim to spread human culture through the incredible power of human faces’ expressions.
Normally I live and work in Turin. I’ve studied in Italy and I’ve held management positions at various IT and telecommunication companies, carrying on and managing international projects between Italy, Usa, Uk, Middle East and India. Turin Airport is very close to my home and Milan Malpensa airport is only 100Km far away. I can say that the entire planet is at my disposal!
I am an independent photographer specializing in documenting cultures, real and traditional life. I’m available for international assignments Worldwide: Africa, Asia, Middle East, South America. My focus is on subjects like education, sanitation, women rights, children rights, working conditions, traditional way of life, undiscovered cultures and ethnic groups in danger of extinction.
Travelers and emotions seekers, I crossed Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East and South America since 2005. My shots have been published on NGO Projects, Reports and Documents, Books, Magazines, Campains and in Photography related events. Among the recent collaborations: UNICEF, Save The Children, Transparency International, The Open University, Photos4Food Foundation, Condé Nast Traveller, Vanity Fair.
I assist NGO and Humaritarian Organizations to tell their stories and promote their work through photography and implement their documentation projects
.
I also organize photo expeditions and workshops for photographers who share my enthusiasm for cultures and uncommon locations away from standard travellers routes.
